I am building one today for the front.

mudslayer2008

I got the front insert made and painted today.

Here is what it looks like

The Bronco has a new look.......  Let me know what you think

the bronco will get painted when the weather warms up a bit here is a pic of a trailer I built 2 years ago the bronco will be the same color as this.

......not a fan of it but hey, not my truck anymore!

well i decided the "SLAYER" on the front doesn't look as good as I thought it was going to so it may get relocated on the back or I might just airbrush it on after I paint the bronco.

~SwampRAT~

dont wanna sound like an a$$ hole but it really takes away from the ford front clip with it there. i think it would look bad ass if it was air brushed on after you paint it though. good choice man, love what you have done with it so far. cant wait to see it actually get some good mud time.

My wife agrees so thats prob. what I going to do

mudslayer2008

well it's been awhile I havn't done to much to it except new bearings and seals in the front axle and try to get the power steering working.  But I did get my 6" strap yesterday from 4xken thanks again.  cheaper than TSC but made alot better and it's made right here in Detroit, MI.

mudslayer2008

well I am building a 2" or 3" body lift for it this week and possibly getting a minispool for the rear.

here is the reason I am putting the lift on it

~SwampRAT~

ya, it needs it pretty bad. that was another project i never got to on it. looks like she kicked some ass out there this weekend though. glad its running good for ya!

I bought this truck today for parts.

the main reason I got it is this,   fuel injected 460 bbf

and this,  dana 60 rear

nothing yet  I'm in the process of tearing the F-250 apart. I'll have my mini spool ordered by the weekend. as soon as the parts truck is torn apart I'll put the body lift on the bronco.

mudslayer2008

I ordered the mini-spool today. Can't wait to get it and get this thing done. swaping out the t-case this weekend and hopfuly getting the body lift done as well so when my spool gets here I can put it in and go play.

mudslayer2008

rear end is torn apart waiting for the mini-spool to get here.  can't change out the t-case because this np 205 is attached to c4 trans and the input shaft is differant so I'm stuck with the 203. I'm starting the body lift tomarrow after examination of the body mounts there are only 4 that are good the rest is either broke or pulled thru the frame. I'll get pix as I go.

the 205 that i have came off of a c6, let me know if your interested. cant wait to see pics, sounds like its coming a hell of a long ways. did you put the dana 60 in the rear or just leave the ford 9?

leaving the 9 inch in it for now that way I don't have to get new rims. I'm kinda limited on money right now been laid off for 4 weeks and I got at least 5 more weeks to go before I go back to work.

mudslayer2008

I got the body lift blocks made today they measure 4" high but they will only give me 3" of lift.(the rubber body mounts measure 1" thick and I'm not reusing them)

here is how the bronco sits right now.

here is the third member awaiting the mini-spool

I do however have to take the "slayer" off the front because the body lift raised the hood release to the middle of the "A" and I can't get my hand in there to get to the hood release.
