What CFM do i need???

Looking to buy a new carb .. but  which CFM? im looking at the proform carb but dont know which one to get.. i got a 383 stroker.. vortec heads ..11:1.... high rise intake.... basic info if you need more info let me know.

I would guess you would need at least a 750 cfm.  I am more of a drivability/OEM expert than a high performance guy so check around.

run a 750! I got a 850 on mine.

Not tue.  Too much carb and you will find your engine falling flat on it's face when you try to take off.

i perfer a 4412 500 cfm holly 2 barrow put bigger jets in it and your rocking   i got a vortex pushing 478 hp with it on a dino    and a 355 with brodix heads and intack pushing 510hp with a 2 barrow

ive  got  a  600 holly  on my  355 and its plenty  enough  carb  for  that  id  say  it  depends  on  whats  on the inside  of  the engine  that  would  dictate  it  summit or  jegs  probly  could  help   my  2  cents

i would go with a 700 or 750, that engine needs alot of air
