lol....i just turned the air conditioner fan off this morning and ive had the window open in the bedroom for the past week....think it might be a couple weeks yet before we need to worrry about the heat around here

Almost two weeks ago, I turned it on long enough to  make sure all was working well.

Turned furnace back off, got new filters in place - and even put new filters in all the register vents -
to keep stuff from falling into them,
                cause I hate vacuuming out registers.

The heat doesn't usually come on unless it drops below 40. And it stays at 60-65 all through winter.
I do a lot of baking so the house usually stays pretty decent - otherwise my windows are still open during the daytime.

GETTING READY.  JUST CLEANED THE CHIMNEY.  PUT ELECTRIC BLANKET ON THE BED LAST NIGHT.  EVERYONE ELSE JUST GRABS EXTRA BLANKETS.  WIFE MADE MUFFINS THIS MORNING TO TAKE THE CHILL OFF.
