TThe Only cops that suck are in Brighton. Thats about it. Every were else they are great to deal with.  Got 2 ticketrs in Bright for B.S. Reasons.

Don't for get Vassar cops. I've learn my lesson there. It took 2 tickets but I learned. That's one town you do not speed in. They will get you every time
My best story was the night I flipped of a cop coming thru a four way stop did not know it till it was to late. It was a 18 hour work day an I was very wore out with bad attitude.Had to be back in to work in 7 hrs. Take 1 hr home an 1 hr back out of that. 5hrs at home don't miss them days. Women cop set me up she kept acting like she was going to go then would not so. I would start to go then she would so I stopped. This happened like 3 times. So I finely went an flung the finger out as I was going thru an went O No. This is not going to be good it was a cop. Yes it was very dark out that night. Got 3 tickets failure to yield to right away of traffic, no seat belt, No proof insurance. She never did say any thing about the finger. But the tickets said enough. I laugh about it now but was not back on that day. I carry all the right paper work now. O ya belt when I remember. I'm  that law was ever made. Would like to hang the people that make these stupid laws. If I want to wear it it should be my call its my life same goes for helmets. I can see under age requirements but of age is bull.

Most cops are OK, but its the OTHER 5% that make a bad name for the others.

Always keep your hands where a cop can see them. IF you have someone in the car with you and the questions the cop asks does not pertain to why you were pulled over and he has no probable cause to ask them, than you can refuse to answer  them. Just make sure you have a friend in the car so the cop cant make-up BS about stuff that you did'nt say or do.

I dont like a pushy cop and I know my civil rights. I also know when or when not to make a comment.

the cops around here when they pull me over in mytruck always ask me questions and tell me how they used to have one and let me go....it's like we are the town hero's because the football team sucks so bad so they resort to the rednecks and there big trucks....lol

You got it right, do your best to put the cop at ease and show respect. Remember they have a tough job and have to put up with a LOT of BS. Don't blame the cop if you get caught doing somthing wrong or stupid.

I remember getting pulled over for being stupid, I'm very polite, I turn on my dome light  at night, put the car in Park or the parking break on, turn off the engine and put my hands on the steering wheel and don't move until told to then ask if it's okay to reach for something. Since they don't know me, they don't know if I have a gun or what.

I did have my bad day when he pulled me over and asked how fast I was going I said "I'm an idiot officer" told the truth I was trying to impress some girls that were with me, and ended up getting away with 2 tickets in that one stop, I was so happy I could of hugged them.

i still get nervous when i get pulled over and ive had my fair share of run in with the cops.  although  the only ticket i got was in my ws6 when i kicked it sideways coming around a corner  then took off like crazy.  took a while for the cop to catch up to.  funny thing is  while i was coming around the corner sideays  and even before i kicked it sideways  my radar detector was going crazy.  but i figured it was the automatic doors at the food pride on the corner  cuz that place always set it off.   but in taht situation when i got pulled over  the ticket started out as a wreckless driving.  os i tried to talk my way outta it.  then it went to impounding my car lol  so i tried to talk outta that one to.  but i ended up with a careless driving that got dropped.

1 wk later i was going to make a payment on the car at my credit union.  i was on a 5 lane road (2 in each direction and one turn lane)  anyways  i had a car on my ass, a mini van along side me on the right, and a car in the turn lane.  anyways  when my front bumper got even with the front bumper on teh car in the turn lane  that car started coming back into my lane.  so it was either slam onthe brakes and get rear ended,  swerve and hit the mini van,  or put it to the floor and get outta there.   well i put it to the floor and broke hte back tires loose and went sideways while getting outta the way (35 mph was that cars sweet spot for doing that lol)  anyways  there was a cop afew cars in back of me  and he pulled me over for doing that.   said he was going to give me a careless driving ticket for doing that.   i said the f#$% you are.  i was tryin to get my car out of the way from an accident and i couldnt help it when i floored it tha the tires spun.  so if your going to give me a ticket  ill see your ass in court cuz that is bull .  had afew other words exchanged there but you get the idea.   ended up getting let off with a warning tho.   asshole midland cops.    i think he was just jealopus that my ws6 looked better and was faster then his piece of charger  lol


sorry for going on so much there.  just that second story goes along with the first  and i find it funny lol

but yea  just be polite and dont mouth off to a cop like i did that one time cuz you might not get as lucky as i did.
