me and my cousin are thinking about doing a motor swap in a 94 chevy pickup 2wd and has the 4.3 v6 how difficult is it to put a 350 in it
which is best fuel injected or carb? im sure carb is simpler and cheaper tho

or could just use mechanical gauges and carb it but you wouldn't have gas gauge

4.3 v6 and a 5.7 350 have same motor mounts

Putting a carb in is harder because of all the switching you have to do. the only people that say carbs are easier to swap are the ones that don't know the tricks to fuel injection.

The gauges don't have ANYTHING to do with the injection system or the carburetor, you can easily make all the gauges work by swapping the sending units on the engine, carb'd or injected....

if you keep it TBI all you have to change is the computer. obviously you will need one from a truck that came with a 350 and was 2wd. you can run a carb as well no problem. if you decide to carb it pm me and i'll tell you how to go about doing it. i've converted 3 TBI vehicles to carb WITHOUT changing the fuel tank/pump or anything else.
