203 shift pattern?

ok so i pulled my shifter off my t-case sence it keeps sticking. i clicked both side nut things (theres a big nut thing and little nut on the side of the t-case where the shifter is supposed to bolt to). i clicked them both all the way back. i was told that was 4 high lock. so i want to put the t-case in just 4hi. do i click both those nut things forward 1 click or do i just click one of them? and if i do click just one do i click the outer one or the inner one?

the inner rod is for the hi, n, low,  the outter one is the lock part, so you want the innter one pulled toward the rear of the truck and the outter one clicked towards the front of the truck for 4 hi,

so the inner one needs to be pulled all the way back and the smaller outer one needs to go all the way forward?

yes and when you want it in 4 lock the outter one will be pulled backward
