tire-gear ratio question

I know that you aint suppost to 2 diffrent size tires front and rear or it will screw up the transfer case ratios (35's on the front 37's on rear) or side to side with lockers, but if I wanted to run a 35x12.50 on the front and a 35x14 on the rear that shouldnt throw my ratios off should it? Seams like only height would effect it.
