i quit 5 yrs ago , best thing i ever did ,  i smoked marlboros from age 15 to age 39 & never did figure out why i smoked ciggys anyhow, cant catch a buzz offa them, as econo said, cigs & beer money now pays for toys & not killin myself anymore, they were $5 bucks a pack when i quit
& at $10 bucks a day, the cash adds up quick...

when i started smokin cigarettes were .93  a pack  i could buy a pack of smokes  a soda and a candy bar for my lunch money lol theres a balanced diet for ya

I smoked for 34 years quit last oct using chantix,seems strange haveing money in my pockit now smoke 2 packs a day 5 bucks a pack thats 70 bucks a week,yea I'm glad I quit

actually, going to indiana isnt gonna be a whole lot cheaper either, they're also raising cig prices 60 cents a pack, that takes an already 42.00 dollar carton of smokes upto 48.00 roughly, its getting rough.

I quit smoking back in oct,but it still pisses me off that the state is targeting a select few for more taxes and sadly to say they can get away with it,she got us in this mess,now the smokers are sapose to get us out??

i dont wanna offend anyone, but its funny to me that people are angry about this. many people die from smoking every year, look at it as motivation to live a few extra years. for all them people that continue to keep smoking, look at it as a way to spend all that money that you would make/get in the years you would have lived! just my $0.02
