broken leaf spring bracket

has anyone broke a leaf spring bracket its on my brothers 2000 ranger and i am having trouble getting it off the truck there are no bolts holding it on there i dont know how it comes off

there on with ribits,  eather  torch them or  grind the  heads of them off.

your not the first one I've seen more than one of those break They usually start to rust then get weak from the rust and break.

Like RD said cut the rivets off with either a torch or some form of grinder then, install the new one with grade 8 bolts and steel locknuts (not nylock nuts)

thanks i was not sure cause it is so rusted i counld not see anything.

Econo-box from Hell

Sometimes with the older Rangers you have to jack the ignition key up and put a new vehicle under it.
