Chevy 67-72 lift kit V.S. 73-87 lift kit

A buddy of mine told me that a 73-87 chevy  (rear blocks......front springs) lift kit will work on a earlier 67-72 chevy truck or (69-72 blazer)..................I've never seen this done.......and dont know myself.


So can this be done? Anybody ever done it?

im pretty sure it wont, i think 67-72 has longer eye to eye than 73-87. i think if it did work the lifts would be described as 67-87 lift

the old one are a lot longer it wont work newer stile have a negitive arch about 7in diff
