I need to change the u-joints in a dana 44 front and was wondering if there are c - clips holding the axle shafts in the differencial or if they are ff axles ???

TopFist

Full floaters of sorts...But after you remove the spindles the shafts will pull out.

pull of tires, caliper, lockouts, hub assembly, spindle, should be 5(?) boilts on your ford.... GENTLY remove spindle, grab shaft and pull. should come right out no problem :)
