im in the process of getting the parts for my new build. im using a ford drive train but i had some chevy axles come around that i couldnt pass up. im goona re gear them but my question is this. ive got a 10 bolt front axle. since its chevy, it has a passenger side drop. with my ford drive train i need drivers side drop. when i re gear it, can i flip everything opposite so that i have drivers side drop? or will it not fit correctly? if not i guess im goona need to find a dana 44 outta a f-250 but them are hard to come by. thanks in advance

You have to seperate the tubes, pig, and the knuckles; and switch the long tube and the short tube. Flipping it over results in the axle turning the shafts in the opposite direction, and your alingment for steering (caster and camber) will be all screwed up.

thats what i was afraid of, thanks.
