I have a 1993 Chevy 2500 4x4 the right axle shaft in the differential came out abut 2 inches. What holds that in? Does any one have a parts break down in there shop manual that can scan it and post that page or E mail it to me?
Thanks  bckloepfer@yahoo.com

theres a c clip that holds it in. just push the shaft back in and you'll be fine. you do have to figure out y it came out in the first place

I hit it when I was putting the diff back in the truck trying to get the axle shaft back in place.

if it doesn't go back it relativly easy than you may need to unbolt that tube from the center section to get it back together, there is a washer in there that has fallen down on me a couple times and won't allow the shaft to go back in all the way.
