Tonight I got the body taken off and put the rear end back under the frame.  Lots of work to be done to the frame now that I can see it.  As well as the cab.  I ordered new cab supports the other day, so hopefully I can get them on soon.  Its starting to get cold out and I want to get this thing painted before snow flys.

KORNBREAD

man i tell ya what, you do some amazing work. im really blown away! this is one bad ass project. when you get finished you want to put a new driver side floor in my k5 lol.
LIVE HARD, BOGG HARD, DIE MUDDY!!!

BoggerA

There is a lifted k5 down the road that my friend owns, that hasn't left the yard is 10 yrs I want to get when this project is done, it needs floors bad, but the rest is ok.

Looks good man, i've been watchin this project since you first posted it.

I've got a 3/4ton 84 long bed im gonna be doing over the winter, not much body work needed, dropping a gnarly "little" small block in it, and tubin the bed for some 33x19.5 M/T sportsmans

==cl truck though!

BoggerA

Sounds like a cool project, are you going to keep it 3/4 ton or swap the rear out with a 9" or what?

Tonight I finished cleaning up the frame and got it painted.  I also rolled the cab on its back to get ready for the cancer surgery on the bottom.

I got the bottom of the cab finished.

And the frame wants it's body back!!!

I havn't posted anything in a couple weeks cuz I have been finishing off my basement, Its almost done except for the drop ceiling. So I had time to work on the truck.

I haven't posted anything up in a while due to cold weather.  I put the truck back together and getting it ready to be shipped out to the paint shop.  I can't get my barn warm enough to paint it.  Hopefully I will get it back soon.

Man I love them trucks.  Buddy back in High school had a 72 3 door Suburban with the Barn door rear end.  I have wanted one ever since.  Drop it to the Ground, Throw a nicely built SB or BB in it and have one hell of a street rod pick up.
Hokey Fab- Idea and Fab guy.
