Well, I finally got a 2 day weekend and got my poles up. Slowly but surely it will be done. If the weather holds out I will be pouring the floor this week. Specs; 30' x 50' x 14' ceiling with 2, 14'h x 12'w doors on the front. Shingle roof and I haven't decided on steel or vinyl siding.

My only concern is dents. I have 2 boys and I remember what me and my brothers did to his garage doors. Vinyl is a lot more rock and hockey puck resistant.

my dads barn is all steal siding hes hit it with plows and trucks its dented but no holes and all of it is at least 18yrs old

go steel roof and sides.way faster and easy, use over head doors don't think twice on the doors it will save you money and time,if you're going to heat it put tubing in the floor.it's the best way to heat a shop, every thing you work on is on the floor so why not have a warm floor, floor heat cost a little  to put in but it will pay for it self the first year if you have any questions on floor heat pm me ;) it is what i put in my house and it's great.

Floor is done! Had some friends over on Tuesday and got it poured. I saw cut it on Thursday and now I'm just waiting on more $ to buy more lumber.
