Not to fond of those aluminum cheap blocks from autozone if thats what those are. I trusted them on my lowered s10 but i wouldnt on a big truck.

Let me know what you end up doing for your rear brake line im still stuck with that on my burb

Truck looks good though

it is the one from autozone.... but its only 1 inch... i dont think much could happen with that little bit.

as for brake lines, with the stock line on there we twisted the bracket thats on the frame towards the back a lil and that made the STOCK line long enough to reach the axle at its stock position even with the axle weight holding the springs down(we jacked up the back end from the hitch so the axle was up off the ground and hanging on its own) and it was streched out fairly straight but was still long enough to work. and this is with 7 inches of lift on the homemade 3/4 ton leafs(took the bottom 3 short leafs off of a 10in lift 52" eye to eye leaf spring set and put them on there which gave it some arc as see in pics). lines will be here today or tommorow. it was a set of pro comp 0-6 inch lift line kit. if ya buy a line thats too short just get a short hard line and a metal plate, drill a hole and extend the frame bracket down further to take up that gap is what i would do. if it helps at all i can measure the line's length for ya so u can compare that length to what ur axle sits at relaxed height

jeepster95

gotta admit thats a nice job you did on the conversion, nice and solid. the alum blocks can crack or even just compress enough that the rear end will walk when you get on the gas (speaking from experience) keep an eye on them retorq every so often and you should be ok.
great job!

pic2
clearenced the flange for more room for the driveshaft yoke

pic3
ground down all 4 ends for more room

pic4
what the shaft looks like all put back together. gave me approx. another inch of extension

that took care of my driveshaft issues, now for the rear axle and ill be ready to run in some boggs!!  ==wazup
