UPDATE: They decided after more than 2 months and a whole bunch of interviews that I was not the one causing the problems out there, and are calling me back to work here in a few days after they complete all the red tape crap. Full re-instatement with no loss of seniority, maybe even a little back pay, who knows. In this day and age, I'm not pushin my luck, just gonna be grateful!

I had to go to a hearing today for unemployement... the company that let me go decided to fight it again after they lost the decision to disqualify me the forst time around. There advocate ( atturney ) pretty much told them that there was information provided by someone in the company that more or less makes it so they do not have a winning case, I over heard the conversation before the hearing, and asked them if they were sure that they wanted to go through with the hearing? Of course they did and there stories were contradicting each others and the one guy contradicted himself, even the jude was questioning his statement! lol
Now i have to wait for another decision but should hear by the end of the week.... my thought on this is that if they want to string me around then i might have to string them around and go after them for wrongfull termination and lost wages and medical bennys.
I am confident that the decision will go in my favor so as long as it does then that is the biggest thing.
Just thought that i would share my hastles with y'all

Its not. Although the company has apologized and asked me to return to work on one hand, they also have protested my claim and have manged to get my payments STOPPED. Now I have to go to Saginaw and stand in line and argue my case!  Geez oh Petes, I am so sick of this nonsense! Will somebody please help me open my own truckshop??

They probably stopped your payments because you are going back..if the company has to pay you backwages then you will have to pay unemployment back....this happened to me when I was 2o years old and working at Westinghouse...I got $14,000 from the company and had to pay back unemploment $8,000....company didn't even show up for the case (they waited in the parking lot to talk to me cuz they knew they screwed up) so I won automatically...and then you have to figure out how to do your taxes on all this...pain in the butt!

They protested it a month ago, it just now got back to me. Somebody in human resources jumped the gun, their left hand dont know what their right hand is doin. It'll all work out, and my union is goin after them big time, too.
