i wonder if i can use the solder stuff on radiator? to seal a tiny hole? whats the process or prep?

i ve had added pepper to that same radiator before   didnt want to use more   thought i ll fix it better     which i thought  soldering it is .

Small propane torch, acid core solder, flux.. Not too much heat, heat the metal and feed solder to it, must be spotless clean, be careful you dont make the tank come loose somewhere else by gettin it too hot ;D

or you can us jb weld thats what i did and it sealeed right up but u have to make sure that the surface is clean and the coolant is about and inch below the hole and also its cold

Works for a while, solderin it will last much longer imo

JB Weld worked on my truck radiator when I had it...spot was right on top.....

yea thats where my hole was to. if u dontnhave tools to solder jb weld is a quick fix

ranger had a hole in the center jb welded it its been 2 years no leak

I know the young kid that has my truck still runs it that way and it was  probably 8 years ago that I JB welded it...he loves the truck and doesn't have any problems

i f'd up when i did it first time because radiator was warm and i put it on then coolant leaked threw and it screwed up then next day i went out when it was cold and did it let it sit for day and drove it from then on
