They can break and cause a fuel spill and fire. They are under investigation by the feds. If you have one of these, better look into it, sounds dangerous. Mustve been another one of those "innovative ideas" loll

yup... straps rust out. they put foam rubber between the strap and tank, holds water and rots out. happens on gm,s too
