i just flipped the plate around and drilled and tapped new holes, trying to keep the motor out of water.




also what is the best tires to run in the mud

Seen it done.
The draw back to doing that is you raised the center for gravity on it and you going to flip it on high speed turns. 
The good thing is it keep the motor out of the water and dirt.
