putting a ford v8 into a jeep xj

i have been thinking about turning my jeep into an all out bogger if i find somthing else for a dd.  well my question is this how easy or hard is it to put a ford v8 into an xj, or should i just go with what i have thinking about wich is putting my jeep up on either a 78-79 bronco frame or put it up on a 73-79 shortbox 4wd frame.  let me know what you guy know about this.

what im trying to find out is whats involved in doing this, so that i can first build it in my head so that i have an idea of what to do, (because i have a load of boggers built in my head ).
