got tired of blowing up a small block or 2 every year so i decided to go big block this year, got a 93 454 droped it in last night and it's a really tight fit... just gotta get headers, pulley's accessory brackets water pump and figure out what betterher will fit in the driver side valve cover under the brake booster.. pics up later

the converter bolts don't line up with the flex plate bolt holes so i gotta elongate one of the sets on the flexplate... got the holley 750 double pumper on it, but ran into a few more snags along the way.. almost nothing from the th350 wants to work with the big block

got it started, had to put different valve covers on it because of the brake booster. motor sounds healthy, just need headers, alternator brackets, and powersteering brackets.. and i gotta get a different oil filter adaptor... gonna swap out the 350/203 and not bother trying to make them fit. going with  a tricked out 700r4 and a 208..

got new headers, alternator brackets, powersteering brackets, and an oil filter adaptor for it, just gotta elongate the holes in the flexplate for a 700r4 torque converter and put the trans and t case back in...get new driveshafts made for it...and once we got the old trans and case out we noticed that the underside of the cab is preaty bad so gotta really start looking for a new cab and box for it.. if anyone has one let me know!!

took it for a ride fineally, had to order some powersteering adaptors from summit and got one figured out and working, same with the alternator. got the right adaptor to put the oil filter back in the old school stock location next to the oil pan.  didn't end up useing the th350 and np203, went with a 700r4 and np208, thanks to chad i got driveshafts made for it.. big difference since the last time i got to play with it. last fall it had a 350 sbc, th350/np203 combo, and 3.08 gears.. now it's got  a 454bbc, 700r4/np208 and 4.10 gears..

just got a 14 bolt full float with 4.10's and posi.. no more breaking the rear axle!!

fineally got to take it for a trip down the road today.. need a bigger radiator and i gotta figure out the death wobble from the front,, gets insand at 35mph.. but everything else is working alright so far, trans shifted t case works, linkages are close enough... had a lil fun on the seasonal rd....
