Any REAL Southerners here????

Anyone else here got real southern blood in them??  

I was born in Wichita Kansas. (Corn field country lol)  Grew up there until I was 7 then moved out here. My dad and all his family are from W. Virginia (mostly all from Charleston and boon County). My wife was born in Alabama. She moved to Flint when she was 12. I actually have Aunts named betty jean and I have a Uncle name Jim John...(no kidding)

 My grandparents are Missouri. But I was born and raised here

but my older brothers/sister are all from tennesee & arkansas

born i southern cali... but raised here, have family born in virginia, and florida...lots different down south than up here

Moms mom and that side of family are in kentucky.  But I'm a michigan boy except when I moved to northern california for a couple years

My dad is from tennessee  moved here out of high school.. been here since .. i was born and raised here...

Dads fam is all from flint, moms side is all otisville upto cass city area

Gr. Grandma was indian gr grandpa was irish/yooper on dads side moms side is russian/german

That's weird my dad lives in Wichita right now and I'm from alabama. Ashville about 45 min north of birmingham on 59. I was just in KS when my dad had heart surgery. Its awfully flat out there

GRANDPARENTS ON MY MOMS SIDE MOVED UP FROM KENTUCKY WHEN THEY WERE IN THERE 20's CAUSE MY GRANDPA LANDED A JOB WITH FISHER BODY. MOST THE FAMILY IS STILL THEIR, NAMES LIKE MARY KAT, BOBBY LOU, LES AND NELLY, MELVIN, GREAT BUNCH OF PEOPLE. DADS SIDE I BELIEVE IS KENTUCKY AND SOUTHERN ILLINOIS. WERNT AROUND'EM AS MUCH SO NOT 100% SURE. BEEN AROUND SOUTHERN COOKIN ALL MY LIFE AND THE OL'LADY IS STILL IN TRAININ BUT SHE HAS LEARND AOT

id be willing to bet most people in mich are only one generation from south oh wait im 50 maybe 2 gens most of our parents-grandparents came up for the jobsin late 50s early60s really irratates me to hear teenager say hillbilly in negative way knowing there familys are gen or 2 from deep south born here but very proud of my southern heritage

northern raised southern ways just got home last week from south carolina. seeing my auntie who raised me. must say i am still just a southern girl. i miss it down there so much but mi is my permanant home... plus hubby hates it down there lol
