Thank you everybody, your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated..

My Dad is a very accomplished beautiful and giving man,
some of his endeavours in life included:

Foster/shelter care, 30+ yrs.. over 54 kids thru our house.
82nd Airborne paratrooper  
Heating and cooling systems engineer (one of his systems he designed is used during launch of the space shuttles)
bred/ trained and raced quarter horses
loved sailing.. sailed the Chicago to Detroit regatta numerous times
Snow skiing, golf, baseball, lettered in football in highschool
Golden gloves boxing champion 6 times
able to do complex math in his head
found a silver lining in the darkest of clouds.. not once in the last 8 months did anyone hear a negative word about his condition or the pain.


Cancer took his life Tuesday morning 11.15.11 opening day at sunrise
at home, surrounded by family that refused to leave his side.

I love you dad, your wisdom will guide me, your sense of humor will fill my heart with happiness
your courage will protect me.... Till I see you again.
