Whats the smallest trailer you have put two mud truck on i have two mud trucks. both are blazer frames with s10 bodys on them one with 44s and the other has 38s. i am looking at a 26 foot deck over goose neck. getting it for a steal if it does work!! Thanks guys!

The deck is 26 foot? That would mean both trucks tire to tire would have to be 13ft....or the furthest outside point on front to back for both you would probly need around a 30-32ft

depends on the bumper to bumper length, wheelbase, overhang, etc... I put my s-10 blazer and my bug on a 24' I would say go measure your trucks.

naw measure bumper to bumper on one truck and bumper to back tire on the other...

chevy.jas

never thought about measuring bumper to bumper and bumper to tire

careful.. ANY thing hanging over the rear or sides of the trailer by more than 4" (thats 4 inches) is considered "oversize" and requires a permit and additional lighting..
not that the cops will mess with you but there is the potential.  just sayin..

i got 29 ft deck and i loaded ramcharger and samurai and it kinda tight so two s 10 on blazer frame might be lil tight for 26 footer

My understanding is that the measurement is taken from the rear most position of the trailer deck.
not sure I understand the "five foot tail" (truck or trailer)

if you take a trailor  and add 5 ft to it. you will that change the center of it. and throw the  balance of it off.  i think  the  tung will be light. and you don't want that.

you should  move the  axles.  to keep the  tung weight wright.

yeah if ya have the rear tires on the "deck" part and have the a$$ of the truck hang over on the tail part so i think it will be legal....

randycrane79

my buddy huals two s10s on a 28 ft and it hangs of ass end by 2 foot  and hasnt been stopped yet but dont mean it wont

chevy.jas

Yea thinking were gonna need atleast a 28 if not 30

Hammerlane

Gotcha..
No, pretty sure if your truck hangs over as you describe there are grounds for a citation, same as with a car hauler (big truck)
bored cop, small town.. just sayin you might want to look it up.  MTA.com   (Mich. trucking asso.) or State of Mich. website

I understand your not commercial however I'm sure there are restrictions.
