yes when you get them ported. make sure you tell them to get rid of the short sides and clean up the guides. i guess if you put a aftermarket seat in them they get even better. thats in the future for my heads. if i dont go big block.

I just put a SBC togather, 71 350 block .030 over, mild pistions and cam with a set of Dart Iron Eagle s/s heads and am very impressed.. i didnt go for high hp but more for torque and i got it..  HUGE differance over a stock 400 with 300K+...

I think  you should go big block ... I'll find a good home for your heads on my engine

If ya got the money go AFR all the way, I myself just blew a head gasket and cracked one head and warped the other so I installed a set of worked over Vortecs on my motor with a edelbrock cam that came with a chip for my TBI and I will tell ya what it made a huge friggin difference.

I think  you should go big block ... I'll find a good home for your heads on my engine 

I would love to go big block. just not yet... trying to make a small block go fast on junk
