Do You Pull Over?

Always
Never
Never knewIt Was Respectful

Mrs. Big Dog

We just ran into this situation on Saturday.  We were in the funeral procession for my great uncle that had just passed away.  And on our way to the grave site we had to turn out onto a main road.  The traffic was clear and then there was a group of cars that decided they were not going to allow the procession to continue so Clyde pulled out of line and blocked the road so everyone could continue the truck that he pulled out in front of got the point and sat there and waited for everyone else to go through.    I do have to say it is very interesting to see just how many people do pull off to the side of the road and pay their respect.

We had my aunt's funeral in Ohio near Cincinnati last Friday, unfortunately. The convoy had to have a motorcycle cop and two Police escort SUVs to control traffic at every intersection to get through town to the graveyard.

It's a changing world where people lose touch with respecting each other. That and areas are getting heavily populated, as well.

no i cant say that i stop, but like said i do respect

The roads i drive i pass a busy cemetery every day almost and almost every day is another funeral prossession. I did stop for my first couple but was the only one stopped and people in the prosession looked at me funny.

I've never even heard of pulling over for respect nor have I ever seen anybody do it all I have ever done was waited for them at a traffic light
