if yer gonna lift it b4 u get a tow rig then actually it'll help u to run one tons.  They usually have a lower gear then 1/2 tons which is cheeper then having a shop regear yer axles for the bigger tires.

didn't kno that .. I went from 29's to 35's and as long as I don't step on it I actually get pretty good mpg's .. I do have a set of 392 gears still n boxes that I got from cbakes ill probably just throw thos n when I get ready for the bigger tires

You would get better mileage with 4.10s and 35s....
