lift springs help?

im putting 6" lift springs on my 86 chevy that already has a 3" or 4" spring lift on it already what do i need to do to put these on? any modifications? this is my first spring lift so i need help please oh and this is a daily driver so no hillbilly rigging just looking for a list of stuff that i would need to do thanks!

Yes, you will need to grind the bump stops on the front drive shaft if it has not been done, you will also need to make sure your brake lines and vent lines have enough slack in them. Your transfer case cross member should be dropped using the spacers already in the frame. The raised steering arm or dropped pitman arm for the 4" lift should be okay with the 6" lift, if the steering is all stock you need one of those. If the truck has the carrier bearing you need to drop that with spacers as well. Front sway bar will be about maxed at 6", but getting drop brackets for that helps too.

That's about it.
