http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DTC-772-32520/ any one ever run these dynatech vortex cones in thier uprites. Im planning on goin to the mounds, silver lake and probly up to mio and of course some bogs.  wanna be somewhat legal anyway. was wondering how well they work. there kinda expensive for what they are. was looking at schoenfeld header mufflers but that wouldnt do me any good in mio with the dnr and not sure about silver lake with uprites always been there with dd or qauds

Silverlake has a rule where the exhaust must exit...not sure exactly where that is but I know its not through the hood lol!

you can go out the hood as long as it has mufflers....  my buddy did it for 2 years now. the only time they bitched is when he pulled the mufflers and tryed to run just his uprights.. lol

well the biatch of it is i mailnly be running at the bogs with the truck but would like to got to silver lake and mio 1 this year mounds too. just didnt want to screw around or spend a bunch for 2 trips. the mounds is more lenient then silver lake. dont wanna spend the money get all way across state and not get into the dunes.  i thought bout running some flowmasters or glasspacks but i def dont want a glasspack on my uprites and i dont think id be able to see much with actual mufflers on em lol

with the flowmasters he can see the same as with out them and he never has to worry about noise..  he only runs them at the dunes and takes them off at boggs and such...

thats cool all trucks are different tho. just doesn't work for me. its a dodge body , boxed chevy frame, ford motor which had to sit up a lil higher to fit uprites between the frame rails which puts the casing of the flowmaster i mean rite in front of me
