That sucks, i have seen lots of dot cops on 10 and 75 lately....

Were you unable to weigh the load? That has gotten us by a ticket or two. Since we haul mixed trees and debris from homeowners though, it's truly impossible for us to scale our log loaders . . .

tri-axles only hold between 12-15 yards of sand. Quads 15-18 yards of sand. 10,000 over is all most 5yards to much.

well this kinda sucks for a topic, but I pull a 10.400 trailer with my H2( its only rated for 6700lbs and 800 tongue weight)
I had wondered if they were ticketing people for thing like that. its not that I ever over load it but the idea they can bang you for it is bad.

i got one last year in jackson county that was 12,350 over . was over on all axles except steer . and busted gross . orginal fine was $4200.00  Went to court and because it was first one and paid in full that day . it ended up $2500.00
