This is what happens when you try to work ground over top of a natural ground-fed spring - an EPIC FAIL for sure. Just an fyi, I am not the one who buried this beast in here like this, and its turning into a real problem to say the least. It's only been in there since 10am yesterday morning and has already sunk at least a foot more like 18". Add to the equation of us jerking the hell out of it for about 4hrs straight, and we gots a serious problem.
Need a damn Steiger and a 50' strap to get this behemoth out of that sink hole, or maybe a major 4wd lol.
We now know conclusively that this Case is stuck. Bottomed out in the rear....obviously. and the front axle beam is damn near ground level (the tractor has sank at least another 6" since these pics were taken this afternoon). Another week or so, there may not be a tractor to recover

get some 6x6 or bigger that about 2-3 feet longer than the rear tire, chain it to the rim so that 1-1 1/2 feet is sticking out past tire on both sides, put her in gear and power out. Its always worked for us,

Have you tried backing another tractor up to the back of it and holing onto it with the three point and lifting it while pulling? Have you also tried to put thing under the wheels so it can gain traction like rocks or old boards? We had our tractor stuck like that last spring doing 1st cut of hay in a rented field.... Needless to say we never went ba k to that field after we got the tractor out lol

i had 2090 case that thing would find the littlest wet spot and sink like rock. we could not  to pull it out with our 3020 jd. so we get a friends JD 644a loader to pull it out every time. those case are heavy.

Yeah we tried that same concept out.....but bc the ground is so soft from the standing water all it did was sink the logs deep into the mud. So now its about 6-12" lower into the mud than what it was when these pics were taken.

Yeah we tried chaining to the 3pt arms with the Farmall 400, but all that did was make the 400 ride some serious wheelies. We've tried just about every idea under the son, short of a big boy 4wd tractor that is. We've thrown a half dozen logs into the trenches this tractor made with the back tires, but bc the water line is so high in this area there's basically no bottom to it. every log that we threw in those holes have since disappeared in the mud. We've thrown at least 6 logs measurin about 14" diameter about 2' long into the holes and lost all of them. And yet with all those logs the tractor still sits lower than when we started this morning. Go figure.
Lol yeah that's sounding about like this situation. Its actually our neighbor's back field that he had no use for, so we decided to work it up and plant some alfalfa seed out there to bale for the cows this summer. Not getting off to a great start, thats for sure.

I'm startin to believe that. It's a great running tractor, has low-range gearing that would snap your neck if ya pop the clutch, but damn it sure isnt the most sure-footed tractor on this property.

Here's a little bit that makes it more interesting. Somehow, not entirely sure how as of yet, but we managed to rupture the rear left tire on the Case. A flat tire adds more difficulty to this already pain in the ass ordeal.
