94 chevy charging

Has anyone took out gauge cluster and alt stoped charging i put cluster back in now it charges so what wires do i have to hook up

There are grounds all over that truck and every last one of them must be in good shape or it WILL NOT RUN or somethin WILL NOT WORK AT ALL. Guarantee theres somethin in that cluster for a ground.

the voltage to start the alternater chargeing comes from the dash  5volt line god im getting old lets just say lower voltage brown wire
