Colorado cinema shooting

I assume that most people have heard about the cinema shooting in Colorado. PLEASE don't blame the gun laws for the accessibility or the cause of this. Think of it like drugs, they are illegal, but if you want them bad enough, you can get em.

I don't want assholes like this to make it illegal/impossible to protect myself from assholes like this. Let's just say if Somone else in the crowed was carrying, this would have ended differently.

Yea this is a tragic event, but this is an eye opener that we aren't safe anywhere.

This is why I pack heat.

Incase you haven't heard or know what im talking about: long story short

Average joe, only a speeding ticket on his record. Goes to the midnight release of bat man. He has 2 pistols, a shotgun, and an ar15, body armor, gasmask, and teargas. Tosses in the teargas into the show, shoots uP the place. He killed alOt, wounded alot. Even shot children in the back as they ran away. He was arrested.
Law enforcement went to his apartment to only find it full of booby traps and explosives.


Befor the gunman shot up the place, he stood in front of the audience and was shooting in the air. Thats when I would have started shooting back.

blaming gun laws on this shooting, is like chokin on a hamburger & shuttin Mc Ds down for it...

Not sure what the answer is, but unarming citizens isnt the answer....

The "Weapon Free" zones are a joke . . . Robbing banks are illegal too. But Banks still get robbed.

EXACTLY. un arming us would just only be worst off for us. I keep a shotgun in the truck and as soon as I can get my CPL, I'll be carrying my 44. We have every right to protect ourselves, property, and family, anywhere and anytime. And I won't give a single F.

Like they say. Criminals love unarmed victims and dictators love unarmed citizens.
I don't have the money to take the classes or get the permit, even if I did I don't want to go on the armed citizen list.

I've read it all on this story crazy how far people are stretching it. Everything from him being a "tea partier" to it being a government scare tatic to get the U. N. gun treaty signed. I say he was a sick ba$tard and would have had a better chance of being shot on the spot if it wasn't for gun control laws/ gun free zones.

On a side note, who takes children that young to a midnight batman movie.

Even if you have a permit to carry you can't in a gun free zone like schools, this theater, etc

Last year, a mother an her son, mother shot son in back of the head, then offed herself.

But this guy had his mind made up. If we had gun laws like Canada, this guy would still have done it, and gotten a gun. Its just like drugs as ive mentioned before.

Well this guy in Colorado just proved that theory wrong... in this case less guns = more shooting = 12 innocent dead instead of 1 dead nutcase.

Wait wait wait. Im pro gun. And agree with you both 100 percent. But I don't want my gun rights taken away because of a crazy guy. But I'm just sayin people are gunna do what they are gunna do. And all I'm sayin is if one person in theRe (like say me) was carrying, I could have changed the outcome or it may not have. But what ever the outcome.    As mentioned. I don want the actions of these psychopathic assholes to be the cause of me loosing my guns or gun rights. I own guns for sport and protection. I'm not neglectin the system. I totally agree with you u guys, but like I said befor. I feel I have every right to protect my self, family, and property IN THE RIGHT SITUATION. Im not gunna into a guy, get pissed, blow his brains out. I'm talking if either of the 3 above are in actual life danger, I won't have a problem solving it. Just to clarify. This is all IMO, I'm not right or wrong here, just my feelings.

I am 100% pro gun also but say everyone in that theater was carying a gun and this crackhead just opened up like he did,  and everyone that had a gun in that theater opened up on him..... see where Im going... there would be A LOT more dead than just 12 people,  this is why they make the laws they do where we can't carry in an arena or theater or a place that has a seating capacity of xxxx amount of people, unless you have the exclusion *which by the way is pretty easy to get and does not cost too much*  you could see how if you were in a place like this it would turn into a freakin gun battle/ war zone that quick,

That kid was DAMN smart to be able to master mind a plan like that..................college smarts had alot to do with him being able to mix chemicals and make (gas) and booby trap his house.....................sure made the cops shitt their  pants......


I do feel really sorry for those families who lost loved ones...............and if somebody did have a CCW and was at the movie, it might have changed that event to less deaths.....................but we'll never know that now will we?


but in no way should firearms be blamed for this..........if it wasnt guns being used..........it could have been a time bomb............or something else..............guns just get a bad rap becuase they are the most common TOOL to kill with.     300 years ago or less.........you could have been killed with a sword............how many peaple run around now with swords killing other peaple............
