Mounds claims another victim

Been at the mounds for an hour. Decided to kick the wife and kids out and have a lil unrestrained fun. Hit a few mud holes and was doing good. Aimed for one not knowing how deep it was and gunned it. Sunk the nose under water. It popped the nose out and died. Got a pull out to drier ground pulled the plugs turned it over to  get the water out and it started puking antifreeze out of number six.

I have made my first walk of shame. Thank you everyone for all the help.

Will know in the next few days how bad it is. I am hoping it is just a head gasket.

well if you need it I'll sell you a motor I have just needs lower end work lost oil press and scored crank. sounds like your gonna be needing a block

I sank my xj at the mounds, pretty much did the same thing hit a hole made the nose through and then done, except mine put a 3 inch hole in the block, and cracked the cam in three pieces,

It turning over and is not making any funny noises. The family friend that is fixing it and his buddy seem to think it just blew the head gasket out around number six . Crossing my fingers.

Back in michigan by the hole and hill it was the deep one off to the left if your coming from the rock course

Yup. I've lost a motor and a trans at the mounds in 2 diffent vehicles.
There should be a mounds victims group lol

We have lost motor and transfer case (and several windows) at the Mounds on seperate trips... I think The Mounds has seen it all...lol

Ha u boys n ur jeeps...we proved a few guys wrong with brand new jeeps lifted up on 37s they were all big and bad until a 89 bronco 2 with 33s was doing more than they were...they left lol oh well, if it runs and is 4x4 wheel it!

I bought the jeep because I wanted to go places my bronco was not able to fit. So far I'm happy and part are easy to find and cheep. But my bogger build will be another bronco or 70s ford. But that is a few years down the road.
