someone that knows toyota axles really good have ? for ya

ok I have a set of toyota axles they are 84-85. I found a 86 rear axle i want to get he has a locker for it. he told me it has bigger axle shafts in it so it wouldnt work on my axles i have now. I want to get the axle and locker he has but i was wanting to put it in my front axle which is the older axle. can anyone tell me if it will work or not. the locker is a power track locker if that helps any. my plan is to weld the rear up for posi and use the locker in the front axle if i can. also he lost the spider gears for his carrier so i was wanting to use the spiders out of my carrier and then weld them up so its posi. any help would be greatful thanks
