The sticker is pained over on my suburban and I'm not seeing a answer on Google. Can anyone tell me what the gvwr is on a 84 burban, diesel, 3/4 ton, 4wd with hydroboost brakes?

I'm talking DOT laws. We all know I've hauled alot more than I should have...... when you have a s10 on the scales over 6,000lb probaby isnt a good thing. LOL

ToughBowtieTruck

GVWR=gross vehicle weight rating=rating the vehicle itself can handle.

GCWR=gross COMBINATION weight rating=rating of the truck and trailer combined.

That said, DOT cannot legally enforce trailer weights with light trucks because they are not defined on VIN/Identification plates.

But that goes without saying, they CAN enforce you axle weight ratings (GAWR front and rear) on the Suburban. And enforce unsafe hauling/improper hitches/lack of trailer brakes, etc etc.
