no one should drink at bogs alcohol makes u do stupid stuff my dad had his own bog I feel drinking should not be tolerated to many drunk idiots people phuck it up for others gives the sport a bad name draws the wrong attention to our sport. At our bog I watched people  get drunk and drive like idiots but hey guess what our bog is shutdown not entirely from drinking but no more bogs or we get sued by the state sorry for the rant just tired of people

i have to agree with the no drinking at bogs. i know its a time when you wanna drink and have fun but it just gets out of control sometimes and one incident can ruin alot of peoples fun. I saw him jump in the creek and his buddies really did no good by aging him on to do it again. it sucks and i hope hes ok

Lets not bash others for opinions, this is the discussion board, if ya wanna debate and call names, make a post in the drama section. ==thanks

Can't blame this on alcohol, It's like blaming the gun for shooting somebody. There was a thousand other people there that were drinking and no other problems. This tragic accident was a direct result of a bad decision. The guy was completely wasted, He had been drinking all day and unfortunatly he didn't know when to stop and apparently he didn't have any friends step in and tell him he had too much! I hope he has a full recovery  prayy  and I hope this doesn't put an end to the best bog around

I just got this off greatlakes!!

Update 10/10/12---- (FROM HIS MOM YESTERDAY) Tough day today-- Clint's surgeon said that he has only a 10%,(but he did not say "not any"), so-- (That means there is room for 90% of HOPE) of a chance of gaining any feeling in his legs. Spinal cord was pinched and stretched BUT NOT severed. He was constantly having his lungs pumped of fluid build ups. Yesterday his temp was 101.8*. Today, back to normal, they feel it was caused ...by the constant build up of fluid in his lungs (pumped out every 2 hrs around the clock) so much for any sleep. This is very painful. He was awake a great deal of time today, so we had the chance to talk with him and visit. He became very depressed and cried often, if we mentioned any of his longtime friends. ( He is probably realizing the extent of his injuries now, and knows he might not do the same things as before). Then in came the surgeon that is going to do the trachonomity(sic). Tomorrow. He explained in great detail to all 3 of us, the entire operation. This removes all ventilator, and other tubes from the mouth, nose, and all tape. This is a reversible procedure.( approx 1-2 hrs. start to clean-up-- total time). He said after the fights Clint has been in so far and did so well, this will be a simple cake walk. WE ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR CARING AND SUPPORT.

UPDATE :--10/11/12-----(FROM HIS DAD TODAY) Clint has now had the trach(sic) put in, an immediate diffference is noticed---lessened grimicing, not nearly as anxious, much more restful, much more relaxed. No more big tubes and hoses in the mouth. This will also make it much more easier to pump the lung, and just slightly less painful. Also did a complete lung cleaning,( it was very filled with liquid and mucus)--breat...hing much more smoother, and steady.Chest is still very weak, has trouble trying to cough, and breath on his own, and so is still on the ventilator. I think he just went down to have a direct stomach stem installed.( this would remove the feeding tube in the nose). More good news----they have identified the virus causing some of the problems, and have strated a treatment that will last 2 weeks in his system. More updates to come later today.

goin to the hosp. in a few if theres anymore updates ill let ya know

whoa whoa whoa lets not get carried away on the no drinking at bogs, it's wouldn't be the same! It goes hand in hand rednecks+mud trucks+alcohol=a damn good time lol people just need to learn how to do it responsible the bad thing is now they need to worry about a lawsuit. I haven't been to Perkins bog yet I don't know if they make u sign a waiver, but even if they do a god lawyer can get around those! A waiver form ain't worth the price of the piece of paper it's written on
