Whats better pros and cons of a 40-44 cut and uncut bogger vs a 40-44 tractor tire?
I been looken at tires and been thinken of runner a 40" bogger cut or 44boggers uncut
The 40" boggers are like 40lbs lighter than a 44
But been seeing some tractors forsale around 40-45" tall but like 10" wide
Wound those work good like boggers? I'm runner 1 tons with 4:88s

your truck I think would like uncut 44s or cut 40s and Id say 44s cause they are taller so you can go deeper lol but mabye 2 44 boggers and 2 44 tsl? I ran that set up once and loved it best all around set up I have ever ran. and with tsl up front you could aways cut the rear 44 for more bite and the front wont break as much with tsl

We run 40s 44s and tractors, the tractors will give you more ground clearance, your not gonna spin a tractor tire like you can a 44, they will dig you through alot of p00. we like our 44s for play bogs. As far as them being hard on one tons? we broke 2 driveshafts in 3 years and the boys beat the hell out it. Its hard to know what you want till you have tried them all

I agree with the Bogger/TSL combo.  Keeps your front end together.

With your truck... 44 Boggers in the front is going to break stuff.

I would skip the 40s for sure and go to 44s.

I also agree that tractor tires are just no good for 1 tons... they bite to hard.

By reading your project build your 388 looks pretty healthy, and youve got good gears... Id run 44" boggers,  then later if you want to cut em drop in some chromoly shafts and let her eat!
