where to go???

Im new to GOT MUD...with the weather breaking im itching to get outside and get in the woods ! The only problem is I have no idea where I can go with my truck .I live in bay city so im looking for something close or as close as I can get nothing to wild just some warm up trails to take my kids and spend the day outside....any tips anyone may have would be greatly appreciated

lots of trails 20 mins north of baycity, m61 between standish and gladwin
firelane trail ,sterling truck trail mositto alley truck trails, take someone along incase of stuckage, we rode threw there last saturday ,trails were snotty, great time
