Anybody rent storage units?

I might need to get a storage unit, approx the size of a car. Just curious how much those usually are, going to make a few calls tomorrow. Trying to decide if its better in the long run to make a payment on a enclosed trailer vs paying for a storage unit.

If u get a enclosed trailor its all yours when your payment are done if you rent it nithing is yours when your done renting.

yeah no matter how valuable what you are storing is eventually you have more in storage fee's than it was worth....if u got the room build a pole barn on your own property....adds value to your land and saves u the money and hassle of a storage unit.

Yeah. Can't afford a pole barn right now. Should have done it when I had the chance. The car is pretty much a one of opportunity, just can't buy it and leave it outside. I want to go the trailer route but that means paying some other stuff off first. Worse case might have to get a storage unit for a month or two

my car has been in storage almost three years, but I look at it as renting my own garage and tools for $25 a month, because when the camaro is home nothing can get done in there

15th anniversary trans am, got a pic of it before with the suburban, both 84's buying it from my mom, she was about to put it on ebay. Won't get a chance to buy another 15th, probably ever. Only 1500ish made in 84, and only a few hundo were 5 speed t top cars.

I decided I'm going to finally clean my garage out. Just going to use that to store it for now. Garage isn't big enough to work on anything in anyways.
