stuck in the mud again

I did some work on a motor that was being put into a show truck a while back for a buddy of mine. He bought a chrome kit and nice carburetor and told me to get to work. So I took all original bracketry, nuts, bolts, fan, distributor, and everything else i'm not thinking of. Then I sandblasted  everything down and by the time I was done everything looked brand new! I disassembled the distributor, sand blasted and rebuilt it. I primed and painted the bracketry, cleared all nuts and bolts and then cleared over all the painted parts. Let the paint cure in a 70-80 degree garage for two days and then reassembled using blue locktight on everything! To say the least it turned every head that walked through the body shop throughout the week! Many people commented on the detail, flawless!! I did it as a favor and he surprised me with $200. I'm just wondering if there is a demand for this sort of thing, for example; If you got a flawless hot rod with an ugly motor then what's the point on popping the hood?

Just putten this out there.

My cost would have be $300-$400 being its very time consuming! You would have to pay for all supplies; primer, paint, brake cleaner, paint thinner, parts needed etc.
