Well sorry to rant but I figure this was the place to share my experience today. So to start off I just put some new tires on my silverado and I had a few rim leaks. So rather then dismounting them I figure I was just going to take it in an pay $30 to get them all done. Well they changed the tires and I was looking at the caliper and it seemed to be seized, so I asked them if they could pull it off and clean the pins while its already lifted up. Well this flat billed hat wearing rookie decided to pull the pins and take a pry bar and stuck it inbetween the caliper and rotor an cracked the rotor so there's a rotor now I had to buy ontop of the caliper( because of cores it didn't come unseized). So after they got that on I'm out of the way watching this kid now and his buddy gets in there and the bleeder screw is still all the way in, and he is stomping on the pettle and I bet u can guess what happens next! Yup he blows a break line... So now I'm kind of getting earitated.... So a different guy puts it on the hoist (I was hoping he would be better then the last) and he undos the screw and before I could say don't just yank that out of there, gues what he yanks it out and snaps two othe lines..... So I'm pretty pissed now and me n the manager got into I pretty good, he was trying to tell me that you can't blame that on his mechanics... N apparently he didn't know I'm not some dumbass that has people work on my stuff and that I don't know what I'm doing so i gave him a good rundown on what's gonna happen... Well I got away with only spending $300 and they are replacing all break lines and that included the caliper and tires... And I got a free never going back to that place again and gonna stick to doing my own work... So moral of the story, if you want something done right do it yourself.. Okay sorry rants over

Yea they wanted to charge me just under $1000 for everything and that's when I had to put my 2 cents in..

yea but I could have just spent $90 on the caliper as like $32 on lines and did it myself... But oh we'll gotta be done either way...

they said its a 6 hr job -_- which I did the whole front by myself in just over and hour...

Oh and to add on to that today it was supposed to be done at 12:00 call in to check on it and he still has 2 more break lines.. Out if 3... N they run to the back which is a straight shot.... And now I'll be late for work sense it's going to take him another 3 hours... Anybody else find this completely idiotic/ ridiculous... I mean I changed all the break lines in the front which I believe it was 5 in about 2 hrs and that's bleed and everything.

it's called independent tire in Gaylord MI. N now my tortion Nar bracket is broke.. Never had any problems with this truck until now. But I'm defiantly fixing that myself
