I don't know the whole story, but I heard he was driving mud force one, the big limo at berville and hit his head and suffered a concussion, and passed away later in his sleep, he was the best diesel mechanic around, hands down and will greatly missed too young to go
RIP mike

mike halas's death was not due to hitting his head after a bog but it was a head injury and I will leave it at that. he will always be remembered as the king of coal and in honor of him on 7/25/13 between 7:30-8 pm we are meeting at his shop in romeo (address on halasperformance.com) and the from there we will roll into downtown where there are having bike night and being rolling some coal all through romeo in hopes we can reach it to him and show the love.

Very sad.

A loss to the car/truck world for sure.  He had some talent!

Had nothing to do with Berville and The Limo.
