Yeah Phil, it was quiet up north. My stand at home had deer under it though...oh well, lots of bow season left. the old trusty Mathews has put 5 of them down for me since I bought it from you!

Opening day i saw 3 does and a spike on my way back to camp down the road, gun not loaded... second day had a bear come in and somthi g changed.. no deer for 2 days, no pictures nothing...

In Mio, I saw nothing, but my uncle managed to get a small crown 8 point on the 16th and the following day he got a doe.

Me and the other 4 guys got nothing.

Went up 11-20 for the day, seen tracks on the roads, but no deer.

thin the does out etc...

car/deer accidents are way down too..

I went and stomped a few posts today.. in this deep snow i only seen a few sets of tracks around rye fields and swamps and such deer normally are all over.. seen about 20 tree stands and 7-8 hunters.

soooo.....how was every ones season? I put down a 6 point and doe with my cross bow and a nice 9 point and 2 doe with the S&W 460

Took my youngest out for his first hunt... 10 days camping up north in a motorcycle trailer ( he survived beyond my expectations).
put a decent doe in the freezer for his family. He's hooked !!
Was a little bitter sweet for me.. first hunt since my dad passed (ironically on Nov. 15th 2011 at sunup).
have to believe he was there with us.
