Do u have Rubicon rear shocks this thing? If so how much longer are they than stock xj ones ? Thanks.

ProGrade

2 weeks ago I came across some jeep coils I bought a couple years back for the tracker project.  Turns out they are lift coils, the jeep is getting taller.  Got the rubicon shocks up front done too.  Now for the rear.  Hmmm.

looking good , are you going to mounds next sunday ? 3 of us went to rocks and valleys today , great place looking forward to going back soon.

Thanks guys!  Yup, my plan is to go to the mounds Sunday the 18th.

I finished the lift.  I put my old add-a-leaf springs out of the Prograde Sierra in the spring pack to round it out, turned out a little higher in the rear than I thought.  There's a bunch of weight in the back now, and it still sits a little high in the rear, overall I think it's not bad considering I had all the lift parts.  I got stuck trying to pull out of the garage, it doesn't fit anymore with the tire on the rack.  I'll need a minor redesign there.  Going to build the winch mount/front bumper and put front brakes on this week.

Looking good, might have to head to the mounds Sunday, wouldn't mind hitting some easy trails myself to take the itch off my wheeling bug,  (haven't had time to get my lift on my Xj yet)
Fat chicks welcome IT'S A 2 1/2 TON!!

Run the xj stock,  still a lot of fun out in the little hills. I'll be out there tomorrow.  Wrapping up the jeep today.

Went to the mounds yesterday, and pulled lilred out, right after dragging big Todd's truck out of the way.  ==roll
A few folks (myself included) were nervous about the small amount of space for the hitch to weld to.  So we tested it and broke it.  Minor redesign should be complete this week.  Otherwise the jeep handled great!  Need to put an electric fan in next to the clutch fan. Need wheel spacers or different wheels, and need to put the bump stop extenders in for now.  Also need to fix the drivers rear shock mount and a leaky brake line.  Overall I had a blast!

Got the front pull point bolted in, found the rail mount roof racks got bent, moved everything to the factory rails.  Took care of a couple wiring issues, fixed the brake leak, and some other minor stuff.  Taking the kids to te mounds on Saturday.

Last time I went out the cooling issue came to a head and I blew the lower radiator hose.  Since then I replaced the lower hose, put in a cooler t-stat and put in a factory electric fan.

I also replaced the battery and put in a full power cutoff switch, which takes care of any slow draw issues and also makes towbar pulling a breeze.  See pic.

As planned we went out for Father's Day.  The cooling and power issue both seem resolved.  I added some serious character to the drivers side when I had to get skinny in a tricky turn.  Had a good time and can't wait for the next one!
