somehow between working 7 10's last week and completing school work, I managed to carve out a 3 hour block of time.  I've mocked some stuff up, but gotta stay busy this week so i can get out there...I'm sure it was awesome out there!

Why not just get some rims with some offset? Lol. Better than spacers imo.

good point.  Either way it will end up tearing up sheet metal.

For me and what iv learned over the years , I stay with a tire in the range of 30 and a stock 7" rim .right now I got 8" and it sucks with the bead  always getting wood stuck in them or mud. Lol we always cAry a old school bumper jack for quick break downs on beads , clean out , air up back to wheeling , pat ran 33s but also went back down to a smaller tire ,really not there to play in mud , just go in to the tight as* trails and climb up and out  , of ? However if there is mud to cross then I have mud kings size 30 they do great also good in snow , just a little rambaling, lol

I'm gonna stick with the 33's for now just because it's what I have.  They are on stock rims,  I think they are wrangler rims.  I bought a farm jack too.

Grinder is cleaner :)
It only rubs in 1 spot on the frame now.  Hopefully tonight I can wrap up the cutting on the rear.  Then make my bump stops do the rest.  Supposed to get springs and coils from a rubicon tomorrow, that will give me extra length to make up for the moved bump stops.  If the coils don't work out I have a line on some f150 coils and some bronco lift coils

Got some work done today.  Drivers side is all trimmed up and I put some door edge guard on the trimmed fender.  Still need to use a hammer in the rear inner fender and weld it to the outer.

Also on the passenger side I was putting the bump stop spacer in so I tried out the jeep rubicon shock and coils I picked up.  The coil seems the same, but the shocks are longer so I'm not sure what the deal is.  Also got a 33" spare.

Shocks are longer so the rubicon had more suspension movement I would assume

Got the passenger side cut today, except the rocker.  I was able to get the rear inner fender pushed up inside the cut outer quarter.  Then I used a bfh to open up some clearance.  The result:  no rubbing with the 33's on that side.  Now I just need to tack the inner in, Coat it and seal it.  I also noticed the rubicon coils sit lower than stock, but seem flexy.  Probably gonna go back to the stock and get rid of the rubicon suspension.

Did some more trimming work and got a front pull point mounted.  Need to reinforce and the make a winch mount out of it.
