UBCR, right across from the golf course entrance..  and it's 6 or 7 doors down..
building way back off the road with the semi trailer tipper.

I'm in equip. maint. now.. but ironic you should ask...
I miss drivin the trucks, but I don't miss truck drivin'

We all must let it go at some time.I just love them dam old Trucks.I have a job as a manager now and never get in them, maybe i can still shift one??Did you every run a split shift 18 speed with 2 shifters now that was FUN, One up and then other one down. New drivers just do not know.I would like to see them run one. ==roll ==roll ==roll ==help ==help ==lmaoo

Triple stick Mack was the toughest..
13,15 and 18 yep.. was a box floatin, skip shiftin mofo..
12% down grade was the scariest..

Donner, Mt Eagle, El Cajon, Sherman, Sisters, Black mt., Fancy gap, Oregon river pass, pigeon river, Eisenhower, Vale
Bullets, Dry, frozen, flat, drop, double drop, heavy, over size, wrecker, Trains, Ontario double, short doubles
3 9's, 5's, 8's  walkin beam floor,
strong arm steering, bias plys and a stack of leafs a foot thick.. cab overs and teams w/ a coffin bunk.
comic books, (up to 3 at a time in the day), tattle tales (disk type)
lumpers, floor loads, swingin meat, windshields in a refer (they would crack on the way if they weren't temp controlled)

and the latest... CNG and automatics.. yea, got a drawer full of t shirts.

OK, You do have a list of the good old days, as my dad would say.New drivers JUST do not get it.Truck driving was a lot harder back then.Now it is just get in and drive with all the new p00 on the Trucks.Coffin bunks! A death trap 1 foot from the road.RIP To all the drivers that lost there lives in bunks like that.I have never run a triple, do tell?As for a foot of leaf springs,strong arm steering,bias plys,camel back susp,etc.did this.Still love them old Cab overs! fun to drive.
