Im going out on a limb here but who cares.... 300 to 500 to rent a pull out vehicle for the day, 2+ days of prep needing a vehicle thats the same or more a day, soo right theres about 1200 to 1500. Then if theres a porta john... Takes a hole lot of $10 to get there..
how does 300-500 turn into 1200 to 1500?  He's not saying anything about what he pays just asked about why it's more if he's bringing the show. I feel it's a very valid question and point especially when it's also pointed out the the things that get bogs shut down come from the spectator side!

The one good thing of paying 20 per truck is it keeps most the daily drivers out of the pit, I hate it when Joe blow with his stock daily driver is stuck in the deepest pit cuz he's drunk and his ass clown buddies dared him to go in it, now wasting the time of the recovery vehicle to pull him out

I also like the trailer in only rule

Mr nasty, 3 to 4 days of $500 a day, adds up fast.  Also, so if its only the people without trucks causing problems, how come people with some badass rigs are not allowed to a bog? If you want me to give you the answer to my own question here. Its people getting wasted and bogging, if there trucks stock or built, same thing to me, your wasted in a motorized vehicle around people and kids..

Fun cost money. Hell, it cost me over $100 anytime my old lady wants to leave the house.
im guessing it costs more than that when you leave the house, lol.

I personally love the idea of alcohol free bogs.
We always talk about safety when we are wheeling and drinking is the most dangerous part.
I also agree that it will keep the spectators more under control and keep them from ruining the sport.

i don't condone people getting drunk or high and bogging but who the hell asked you to bring your kids to an adult event? i for one am sick to death of hearing how i need to look out for others peoples kids....if you bringing kids that need to be looked after....you pay attention and look out for them and plz stop expecting others to babysit for ya :)....public service announcement and end of rant lol

I guess its not so much the smaller trucks, I've seen smaller trucks rip pretty good, and that's how most of us started, you gotta start somehwere, its the guy that came to a bog to just "watch"  then gets drunk and takes his stocker in the pit

Did any of you guys read his post?  He never said he didn't want to pay!  He just was referencing the fact that with out the trucks you'd have drunks in a field on Saturday!

I don't mind paying the $20 a truck to get in with a pull out.
I really like the trailer rule, it keeps stockers DDs out of the pit. ( I hate them suck in the way over n over) really.
No drinking doesn't bother me either as I drink myself, 9 times out of 10 the spectators drunk is problems.
I also like tire limits ( if ya got a pit for 38s bigger don't bring 33s cuz it ain't hapening
I've been to 100s of bogs and even hosted a few, I do see pros n cons

I can see this is a topic that we all have a problem with. I for one have no problem with drinking just no when to STOP bogging. To drunk to drive is just that!!!!! ==np ==wgm ;D ??? ???

it is what it is. As a matter of opinion I would say make it the same price at both gates. One person is there to have fun and watch a show, the other is there to have fun and tear p00 up. Both entry fee's should cover the costs of the recovery, out house & etc, you are all there for the same show. I decided a while ago I'm done with any public bogs that allow alcohol in either gate. Common sense to say alcohol and gasoline don't mix. But that's a whole nother subject ;D

suppin to think about normally when you bring a truck , you have your "groupies" or family with ya

trucks and driver free (we do put on the show) gas and prep $200 , Truck $20,000 (estimate AVG) ,looks on spectators faces PRICELESS

and charge 10$ a head,

lets not let this sport get to the outrageous football, basketball and all other sports prices to get in !!!

I like what Sick n Twisted had going No Drinking No carts quads no pets thing

just my thoughts
I am with you on this.Well put. GotMud?

Magic, how can you say a mud bog  is an "adult" place?? side note, i dont have a truck, if theres a bunch of trucks and a badass pit i would pay $20 to walk in. If it was all set up right

How many kids rides or kid activities are going on at a mudbog? Not many. I think what he is saying is everyone should watch their kids responsibly, and make sure they aren't in harms way. On the other side of it, I'd be down for an alcohol free family bog. Booze and horsepower don't mix.

i say that in response to you saying stuff about safety....some of our trucks are pretty big and do at times get a lil out of control and it sucks to have to not only worry about my safety but that of a kid not paying attention that i didn't bring....i guess you will understand more when you grow up and realize it's not ok to put your kids in harms way and expect me to be responsible for it.
