Stateland rant

So i didnt figure i was going to hunt this bow season, one of my coworkers talked me into it.... Well he took me friday to check out a few spots in oakland county stateland. I liked one spot the most, well saturday morning im walking in at 5:30 am and come day break 30 yards from me a guy in a tree stands tells md to leave, i walked out and 10 people where around my car.. WHAT THE HELL sorry i walked in and you didnt say somthing but i did the right thing and walked away.

thats all you can do good man .    The weekend before opening I found a tree stand about 45 yards from my ground blind.    I left him a note that said " I just want you to be aware your stand is only about 45 yards from my ground blind that I have hunted from for the past 8 or 9 years. I understand this is state land and you can hunt anywhere, but please be a good sportsman and a good hunter .   thank you. "     I went back the day before opening and his stand was gone. That was real cool of him!!!!

Its nice when people are nice enough to leave. But others can be ignorant and make things difficult.


And Red, what did you mean 10 people were around your car.............parked around it..........or standing around it waiting for you??

Standing around it waiting.. its kinda funny there when i walked in there was only an extended cab parked about a mile down the road.. when i came out that truck was beside my car in a parking area.
